Guild Crafting

Guild crafting allows guild members to add guild augment crystals to items with guild augment slots. This crafting system was largely discontinued with Update 17 and replaced by Augment Slot crafting. Legacy items with guild augment slots are still available in game and can be used; however, new items with guild slots do not drop any longer.

Mechanics[edit]

Any randomly-generated loot before Update 17 had a chance to contain a Tiny/Small/Medium/Large Guild Augment Slot. These slots allow you to place Guild Augmentation Crystals of the same size, temporarily enhancing that piece of gear. Your guild must also have a high enough level to support each size augment: 10, 25, 45, and 70, respectively.

If you meet these prerequisites, you can purchase the Augment crystals from the guild vendors in House Kundarak. Each size has its own vendor. Augment Crystals are Bound to Account and go into your green Ingredients Bag.

Once purchased, the crystal can be applied using a Stone of Change (in the Marketplace, The Twelve, or on a guild airship) by placing both the item and crystal in the Stone of Change. The item must not be equipped and must be unlocked in the inventory; the Augment Crystal can remain inside of your Ingredients Bag (just drag the stack from inside the bag into the Stone of Change window). Slotting the crystal will raise the item's minimum guild level from 1 to 10/25/45/70, depending on the size of the crystal. You must sustain the requirement if you wish to continue using this item, or wait for the augment to fade.

The augmentation is temporary, only lasting 6 hours after application. This timer pauses whenever the player is logged out or places the augmented item in the bank (the timer on an item in the shared bank will be paused at all times; however, the regular bank window must be closed for the timer to pause).

You cannot slot a fresh crystal until the previous has expired.

Notes[edit]

  • All items with Guild Augment Slots have the "Minimum Guild Level 1" prerequisite. Anyone wishing to equip this gear must be in a guild of some form.
  • The crystal's buff is considered a guild bonus, and therefore will stack with most other buffs, but not similar augment crystals (only the highest bonus will apply).
  • Guild Augment Crystals match the Guild Augment Slot. You cannot use a smaller crystal on a larger slot.
  • A docent with Guild Augmentation Slot cannot be equipped to an Artificer's Homunculus companion.

Guild Augment Crystals[edit]

  • Tiny: Minimum Guild Level 10
  • Small: Minimum Guild Level 25
  • Medium: Minimum Guild Level 45
  • Large: Minimum Guild Level 70
Note: As this system was discontinued, at some point the base value for all crystals was changed to 1 copper (.001 PP) each. The old values were 50/100/250/500 pp, respectively.
