Template talk:WFABonus
From DDO wiki
[edit] What is this template for?
What is this for, what uses it? If you need help, I am the active template guru on this wiki.
Wanted to get the Armor Bonus of the three WF body types into the Template;Named Armor without editing the template. And I can't even get this small template to function properly by itself or in the Template;Named Armor without display issues.
What do you want it to look like... Can you show me an example (idc how, can be drawn in paint, cropped from screenshot, or done as just a regular table/div in html)?
Thought there was one in the example, I must of removed it. No borders , no bg color.
| Adamantine Body: | +X |
| Mithral Body: | +Y |
| Composite Body: | +Z |
Like that? The only thing I might change from this point, is to define your column widths or the second column might vary a little with single or double digit numbers (+5 vs +12). You may change the color of the text, or bold the XXX Body: section as well... Your choice... I just gave you what I think you want for a form to start with.
Happy Templating and if you need further assistance, ask.
Yep that what I was going for. Ill fix up if I can get it to work in the Template:Named Armor. Looks like the two templates dont get along well. Template:WFABonus screws the Named Armor table when place in the Armor Bonus section.
EXAMPLE REMOVED FOR PAGE AESTHETICS -- EXAMPLE REMOVED FOR PAGE AESTHETICS . Removed content can be viewed → http://ddowiki.com/index.php?title=Template_talk:WFABonus&oldid=137968
As you can see by the example above, it will now work nested inside of other templates... Tables in templates in tables in templates don't work well if all written in wikicode... Innermost table needed to be re-coded into html table...
[edit] If being clean up
If you do plan to clean up this template and If possible can you have Composite Body not be displayed if vale is null or empty or blank or 0.
It is now properly in the Category:Item description templates project, and will be cleaned up to conform to a new standard I have been implementing for the layout of templates. It is possible, and I can have it remove any of the three kinds if the value is 0 IF that is how it looks on item screenshots. I want our outputs to be accurate.
