Link style[edit]
The template did not use the old style forum style links (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php with postid and postcount). You don't need the thread title information in the url. Take this full post url for example: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/150534-Official-Known-Issues?p=1755313&viewfull=1#post1755313. You only need https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/150534 to link to the thread, and you only need https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1755313 to link to the post. — Zav (C·T·E) 14:26, October 5, 2014 (EDT)
- I tried that and I got a 404 PNF error. I'm not sure what is going on exactly, but for easy of use the template should be able to properly handle BOTH types of URLs and since the https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1755313 ones redirect to the https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/150534-Official-Known-Issues ones on the forum itself, I would suggest that the ones redirected to should be the default type. So you want the full end of the url (150534-Official-Known-Issues?p=1755313&viewfull=1#post1755313 [post] or 150534-Official-Known-Issues [thread]) to be the default first parameter input? broke[edit]
somebody broke something around label parameter. link title is showing up as "ReleaseNotes" instead of "Release Notes", its ignoring spaces in some cases. --yoko5000 (Contribs • Message • Email) 01:40, December 11, 2015 (EST)
