I'm not sure if you are aware - many, if not all, of the wiki pages reload over and over again, at least in my browser (firefox 37). It's not a problem for viewing, but it might be increasing your server load. I first noticed it a month or two ago. 24.145.200.55 (Message • Block • Check) 12:57, August 23, 2017 (EDT)
- Out of curiosity, why are you using a 2+ year old browser? (released on March 31, 2015). As for your issue - how often does it happen? Every 1/10/100 seconds? Is the entire page redrawn? That would really annoying. When you press Escape, does it stop refreshing? Anything special about your computer or network? - I can reproduce this in Firefox 56.0b5 and Chrome Version 60.0.3112.101 (Official Build) (64-bit) while logged out only. Thanks for reporting it. Based on the fact it's only affecting logged out users, it must be related to the Google ads that don't show for logged in/registered users; I've passed this information on to the site's host, Xevo. It should have no effect on the wiki itself as it's only reloading client side and all of the pages are cached server side (so reloads mean nothing of themselves). 👟 ShoeMaker (Contribs • Message • Email) 👟 17:23, August 23, 2017 (EDT)
