Mimic strength

Contrary to dev statement, in a level 5 elite quest (effectively 7), just took 103 damage from mimic spittle (tier 5) and was goo slowed. Mireru (Contributions • Message) 13:55, February 26, 2015 (EST)

I apologize. There was a bug fixed with mimics, but the side effect is that they are using boss scaling which makes them dangerous at low levels since they are scaled like a boss at the end of a dungeon.  We are discussing whether we can patch in adjustments next week.  Sev~

Cards and Items

I edited the format of the table to make it a bit easier to read and update. Mimic spawn level

Playing a level 6 on Reaper (Another Man's Treasure, Elite level 8) with level 10 PCs and got a "Too high level to spawn a mimic" message. That's 4 levels above base, not even 4 above current. ⇒ Nom (Contribs • Message • Email) 07:22, April 6, 2020 (EDT)

• Some quest chests seemed to be "bugged" regarding the Level difference and not spawning Mimics. Several recent DDO Forum posts mentioned they also had the same message occur (rarely) when within the Heroic Bravery Bonus range, e.g. DDO Forums.
