Gleaming vs Shinning (as in the screenshot) name[edit]
Did Turbine-DDO rename this item? If so, please upload a new screenshot of the picdesc and send me a message and I'll properly move the page.

- I have both Gleaming and Shinning plate on my account both which I purchase off the AH a ~month after U14. Both have the same design and enchantments. Both have different names , Item lore, armor bonus and enhancement bonus. They are indeed to different armors. Bladedge (Contributions • Message) 02:55, December 30, 2012 (EST)
- As long as it is not one of those instances where Gleaming Adamantine Platereplaced Shining Adamantine Plate
and Shining should become a history page.
They both drop in Tempest Spine end chests and the only difference I see is the gleaming is ML:10 +4 enhancement bonus and the shining is ML:8 +2 enhancement bonus (mouse-over links for picdescs to compare).

- There more then those 2 differences, you overlooked Armor Bonus and item lore. Even cubicleninja.com has both post U14 armors. Bladedge (Contributions • Message) 12:57, December 30, 2012 (EST)
- lol the differences in Armor bonus are related to the difference in ML and the item lore on the Gleaming claims that it is a breastplate, which is wrong since it is heavy armor instead of medium and it would make sense for Turbine-DDO to nerf it back a couple on the ML and fix the description. If it can be confirmed one is a replacement for the other, I can fix it on cubicleninja as well (since I'm also a registered editor there).
