  • Hello and welcome! I see you're adding a lot of YouTube walk through links. That is awesome! In the future though, could you please add them using the appropriate template?     Sorry about not using the write code for the video. I just cut-and-pasted the line for an existing video. I've seen that you've cleaned up my additions.
    I have two videos where I talked quite a bit about non-quest stuff before starting the quest, "The Grotto" and "Stopping the Sahuagin". I want the link to the quest video to start at a particular time in the video. For "Stopping the Sahuagin", I tried:
    • {{ OnYouTube | v=tfM4zQGPkKc?t=650 | U29 Video Solo Walkthrough }}
    but the label was messed up
    • [https://youtu.be/tfM4zQGPkKc?t=650 U29 Video Solo Walkthrough]
    worked perfect

  • The best way to respond to a message on your talk page is to edit the section on your talk page containing the message with your reply. So, I've copied and made minor formatting adjustments your reply here.
If you visit the page for the template, T:OnYouTube, the available parameters should be listed. Unfortunately, it's not listed yet since that's a fairly new template I made that no-one else had really used yet. SO... The next thing to figure out the parameters would be to look at the source code for the template, which I realize probably makes no sense to someone who has no experience with templates yet. The full set of parameters for that template are one of the following:
  • {{ OnYouTube | v=video id|t=timestamp|label=text to display }}
  • {{ OnYouTube | v=video id|m=minutes|s=seconds|label=text to display }}.
So, for your example it would be {{ OnYouTube | v=tfM4zQGPkKc | t=650 | label=U29 Video Solo Walkthrough }} which would produce U29 Video Solo Walkthrough or if that's too complicated, you could do it as {{ OnYouTube | v=tfM4zQGPkKc&t=650 | label=U29 Video Solo Walkthrough }} which would produce U29 Video Solo Walkthrough.
