Description: Jerald Binder is one of the hostages held by the Sharn Syndicate to force Olistair Binder to pay a ransom of 50,000 gp.
The Bookbinder Rescue[edit]
Jerald Binder will make a run outside of the room he is being kept hostage as soon as the door is open. If you are not careful, a thug might follow him instead of fight you, and he might die outside of your sight.
Once there is no more thugs around, you can talk to him:
- Jerald Binder: Thank you! Thank you! What of the others? Are they safe?
- You: Come with me if you want to life. (Will start following you)
- You: Stay here. I'll be back. (Will stand ground)
Once you lead him out of the home, the DM will say:
- Dungeon Master: Jerald Binder is still visibly shaking as he leaves the Binder Home. But he's safe now, thanks to you.
