Attune the Arcane

Description[edit]

Draconic Destiny Mantle: Offensive spells you cast deal 1d6+6 bonus damage per caster level in the elemental damage of your Draconic Bloodline. This has a cooldown of 5 seconds.

Acquiring Attune the Arcane[edit]

Attune the Arcane is the Epic Destiny mantle available to the Draconic Incarnation and as such is exclusive from other mantle toggles. It cost 2 AP and is available as a Tier 1 ability. The damage dealt by this ability is set based on your choice of dragon color in the Draconic Incarnation Core enhancements.

Notes[edit]

- The original version of this ability (still incorrectly described in the buff bar) had only a 25% chance to deal the extra damage. It's now a 100% chance, but with the 5 second cooldown.

- An AoE spell which hits multiple enemies will only apply the extra damage to one of them prioritizing the primary target hit, but if the target dies before the damage procs another target may be selected at random.

- Non-standard spellpower scaling. It's not 0, but is way less than 100%. Probably somewhere between 35 - 50%.

- Non-damaging spells may also trigger this effect such as Glitterdust or Dominate Monster. In the event of a charm or control spell, the damage is applied before control is taken resulting in your newly charmed or dominated creature sustaining damage. Note that targets which save vs. the spell -- or indeed, those that are immune to charms and controls -- will still be subjected to the damage.
