From DDO wiki

page was in use: Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Itemwand

You broke 7 pages deleting this.

Same for itemshield and itemarmor it appears. Itemweapon wasnt used, think it was updated to template:base weapon.

Personally would vote to remove the pages that link to there, since it's basically random item bought from a shop. Neouni 07:00, February 19, 2012 (EST)

Because it's from a shop?

How is that relevant to it's importance?

We have dozens of pages of items that you can get from shops, often containing useful information.

Not sure what you mean by random either.. Not much random about em, they are static items available from standard shops. Sure randomly generated versions exists, which just randomize the charges, but shop ones all come with 50 charges.

They would have disappeared once someone started merging the templates, since they are neither named or unique and wouldn't fit the description the templates are intended for.

If all the data on those pages is available in tables and is deemed common knowledge, and not named items, why repeat it on a special page.
If you would be able to check the amount of visits it would be a few hundred by the searchbots and maybe a dozens from players since 2006 Neouni 07:23, February 20, 2012 (EST)

I'd say delete the linked pages also. What "useful information" was on 'em? We don't have pages for +1 plate, masterwork longsword, etc. Why would we have pages for what is, basically, a non-rechargeable non-named clicky?

At the moment in regarding basic wands: not much, wands are fairly straight forward items that can be explained on our wands category page (which ive recently updated to reflect some more general info). Though one piece of missing data on the wands page is their UMD difficulty. But to contrast your reasoning: Well actually we do have a basic Longsword page, and a basic Full Plate page.. They are useful.

In regards to the other broken pages: Template:Itemshield and itemarmor broke the basic armor and shields listing, which do contain a lot of useful information that should be restored. EG: AC, Dex, ACP, Armor values, weight, etc.. All important things to understand when deciding on a type of armor or shield to use, and useful for comparing agianst named versions to see whats changed or what to expect from similar finds.
