Needs expansion[edit]
I have started this template with the new Lamannia crafting in mind.. I realize that it will need to be extended to cover and include Greensteel crafting ingredients and alchemical crafting ingredients as well.. :) It's on my list of things to do if no-one beats me to it.. --Technical_13-- ShoeMaker 22:34, April 1, 2011 (EDT)
I think it works well enough to cover any ingredient types atm. Might need some minor tweaks, but overall looks better to me then the other one i've just deprecrated. Also i've renamed it to match other named item templates (non-plural) and added an auto cat.
Recommending other ingredients be converted to this template.
Other one was too complex imo. Two images for ingreds is rather unneccesary since you can neither weild them, and you cant even see the orbs in most cases anyways, as they autotmatically go into ingredients bag, which prevents such action. Plus its irrelevant, there just expanded icons in this case of ingredients, no bearing on gameplay.

Ingredient purpuse[edit]
Might be useful to add a parameter to describe the ingredient purpose. For broadly used ingredients as essences it can be a link to the crafting system, while for more narrowed ones, it can be a link to the resulting item. In case it is not provided but a system parameter different than other is found, we can point to the general page of that system. This information is currently splited in the tip and description parameters, and I have even seen that in the crafting parameter of the deprecated Raw material ingredient template which is supposed to map to system instead.
