Revenant sub-race
Revenants are represented inconsistently in DDO. The majority are Zombie race but some are Human race instead.
Description[edit]
The spirits of those slain in an unjust manner, Revenants are driven by a determination to avenge their deaths. They can possess the corpses of other humanoids, and if their current vessel is destroyed, they can choose a new one at the next dusk.
Most revenants die permanently a year after their first death or when they succeed in slaying their murderer. However, in DDO, the only existing revenants are in the plane of Ravenloft and are not subject to this restriction.
Combat[edit]
Most revenants possess the corpses of Humanoids with weapons, and make attacks with those weapons.
