Hi, thx for your contributions to the wiki, but can you reconsider what you are doing on quest articles please? Adding links to other exsisting quest guide is fine but copy-pasting might not be (without original creater's permission). Over-writing exsisting wiki text by that copy-pasting is especially bad imo. I know some of our quest articles dont have much contents compared to Lost quest guide etc but there are so many contributers working on it. Makes it easier for me if I don't think I need to copy paste (plus edit) all those quest guides. Just trying to aggregate the data to one location. When I was a new player knew about the wiki before I knew about the lost quest guide. There are quite a few walk throughs for various quest that are on one (or more) ddo forum posts. Instead of forcing the new player to search all over the forums would be nice if there was one location he could obtain data, wiki logical location. (not to mention some of the quests guides have just as much information that needs to be edited which can be confusing for new players). As far as using the data without permission, I used references so that original author was acknowledged without plagiarizing his/her data. -- Curiousgis

Saw what you did with Stopping_the_Sahuagin having section for external links. I will use this approach for future entries and I can go back and revise your rollbacks to fit your guidelines. Though I wonder if I see need to edit quest guide will I have to write revision and post to ddo forums and link in wiki? And if there is a quest with no lost quest guide and no info on wiki is it acceptable to do quest guide on wiki? -- Curiousgis

yea im very happy with what you are doing now. keep the good work coming :) concerning copy/pasting, i still think it is a poor choice because his guide is sometimes lengthy and poor fit to our quest format. if this was 2yrs ago when this wiki wasnt getting much update i would have said yes (to pages with little to no info), but now lets leave such pages as is, i am almost certain that those pages will get updates in near future.

sory for slow reply, patrolling edit task is now eating up almost all my free time at work with the influx of contributers... which is a good thing though. --yoko5000 12:49, September 28, 2010 (EDT)
