Dwarven spell resistance[edit]

This enhancement is bugged. It works only against some spells. It is completly ignored for spells like Curse for example. Tested it myself and it is confirmed by various players. Maybe this should be pointed out in the list. --Ziu 04:07, May 5, 2006 (EDT)

Related note? It isn't stacking with everything. I have no idea what the cause is though. I have a Dwarven Paladin with the Aura of Good (+2 to all saves is the relevant part). I also have +save enhancing equipment and the Dwarven Spell Resistance. So.... I pull the Dwarf Spell Resist off.... and my saves don't change. I'm guessing it is the interaction with the paladin aura but do not know. KakarisMaelstrom 21:59, May 14, 2006 (EDT)

Well, since the save bonus is only against spells, it doesn't show in your character sheet. You have to check what bonus is being added to your roll when you actually make a save. Sonil 23:41, May 14, 2006 (EDT)

Sonil is right. It can only be seen in the combat log. Somehow the code behind it is broken. It works only against some spells. For example I get the bonus against the low level "cause fear" spells but not against curse spell. Same goes for various other spells. My personal impression is, that it only works against low level spells. Since it is a racial bonus it should stack with all other bonuses.--Ziu 07:26, May 15, 2006 (EDT)

After getting Spell Resist for +3, I can confirm that it just doesn't show on your spell sheet. However, I have no idea if it does work or doesn't work against most spells, or if it does or does not stack with the Paladin Aura. My dwarven fighter has pretty high saves (all between 10 and 20). I seldom fail a save but if I do I usually check the log after the encounter. Especially at the higher levels the log never shows the spell resistance bonus in the combat log (I checked this 50+ times). I made some forum research and there were various ppl with similar observations. I only can advice you to make some tests for yourself. It doesen't matter if there is a paladin near you or not.--Ziu 02:59, May 23, 2006 (EDT)

I plan on adding the pics that goes with each enhancement, would it be possible to make a column simply for pics? If I add pics currently, it looks like Dwarven Armor Mastery, which looks wierd. "Splitting" text and the pictures would be possible?
