I believe the only "End chests" that drop these are the ones that spawn before the end battle if you have completed the Lieutenant optional. -- ShoeMaker 15:35, October 15, 2011 (EDT)

Thats only true on normal. On hard and elite you get chests called "lieutenant" chests regardless of if you complete any optionals. --Shade 21:42, October 15, 2011 (EDT)

May still add one by completing the optional. I got five extras on elite the other day by using the mark of making response for the optional for a total of 8 chests all said and done in the room.. 10 Chests total for the quest including Whitefang's & Dackle's chests. -- ShoeMaker 22:58, October 15, 2011 (EDT)

Yea.. That's all explained in the schemes quest entry. Maybe it was unclear, I reworded it a bit.. But yea just to re-hash:

• 1/2/3 standard end chests for n/h/e located on the far side of the end room.
• 2 differently named endchest on hard - one cannith one, one bladesworn located on the corners of the boss platform
• 4 differently named endchests on elite. 2 of each.
• The bonus chests you get for completing the optionals have the same name as these higher difficulty chests, but are indeed in addition to them. So on elite, with all optionals:
  • 2 for named: Dackle/Whitefang
  • 3 regular end chests far side
  • Row of 3 bladesworn chests (2 for winning, 1 for befriending them)
  • Row of 3 cannith chests (2 for winning, 1 for befriending them)
    • Total: 11 chests.

Which drop the boots:

• Dackle + All 3 of the possible chests on the rightside corner (cant remember if there called cannith or bladesworn, likely cannith given there name), Droprate is rediculessly high on elite - so high that every run i've ever done all 6 party members got them and had to leave some in the chest.→ Shade 23:13, October 15, 2011 (EDT)

Thank you for the clarification. I tested a theory last run that says there is no reason to leave any in the chests. Simply destroy your current pair, Pick up the second pair, Double recall out and go to the bank, Put the second pair in the bank or in a shared bank, got to a vendor, click on the buy-back tab, buy your original destroyed pair back. I did about half a dozen elite completions last week, and confirmed there are seven chests (Dackle's plus all six "lieutenant" chests) that drop boots. Updated the page accordingly. Cdr 18:59, Novemeber 30, 2011 (EDT)
