DDO Graphics Settings[edit]
Dungeons and Dragons Online, like many other games, offers the ability to scale the level of graphics to better suit your system's capabilities. By opening the Options/Graphics interface you can use the available presets to quickly adjust the visual quality of your gaming experience, from the lowest setting of Very Low which has almost all options disabled (such as rendering, player crows quality, draw distance, monster draw distance, ect) to the highest setting of Ultra High which enables and maximizes most, if not all, of the visual aspects of the game.
To access the options menu, press Ctrl+O (Command+O on Mac) and navigate to the options tab. Alternatively, you can press the "Esc" key to bring up the Main Menu and click "Options."
The higher you adjust the Graphics Quality setting, the more graphical features will be enabled and increased in quality.
The preset Graphics Quality settings are:
- Very Low
- Low
- Medium
- High
- Very High
- Ultra High
Settings of "High" and above have post-processing effects enabled - effects such as blur when under water, shimmering above fires, reflections on surfaces, and so forth.
Graphics settings can be accessed in the options menu:
- General settings may be modified under the "Graphics" tab of the menu.
- Individual settings may be modified under the "Adv Graphics" tab of the menu.
