Talk:Anti-magic cone

From DDO wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Doesn't the cone have standard spell range? I've noticed that my characters are not affected by anti-magic from a beholder until it gets within spell range if it is aggro'd from afar. If this is so, it should be noted that ray spells can be cast to effect outside of the range of the cone (lightning bolt or scorching ray are great for this for mid-to-low level beholder encounters, like in VON3). --Zt2211 09:29, October 19, 2011 (EDT)

Yes, the cone has a range, and is directional from the front eye. I usually attempt to either use an Enlarged Finger of Death on an arcane caster or an Enlarged Destruction on a divine caster. ShoeMaker 10:38, October 19, 2011 (EDT)
