Named longbows

Hi, I have noticed you have started working on this article. As you have probably noticed, it's a lot of work :) And the articles are also a pain to maintain. For consistency, the content probably belongs to the Category:Long Bows page. However, perhaps you should talk with User:Aldyron about using DPL to automatically generate such lists. He's already done some excellent work with pages like Category:Trinket items. I am not sure if it's currently possible to generate a list of named longbows, but I would certainly recommend talking to him before spending extra hours typing all that stuff. Also, I think base damage rating is a trap and should not be listed. Weapon damage using the 1.50[w] notation and crit threat/multiplier is much more important imho.--Cru121 (Contributions • Message) 06:04, December 29, 2013 (EST)

Thank you for your thoughts and ideas. I think that I will make some changes to that table, like you suggested. My thought regarding the BDR was that it was - though imperfect - simple, easily sortable, and newbie friendly. The table won't be all that long, thankfully - I'm more than halfway with it already. I take your point regarding User:Aldyron's rather impressive work with trinket items; but since this table is (for now) so short, hopefully the current approach will work out decently.
