Overview[edit]
These dynamic rangers have more skill and expertise in fighting with a weapon in each hand than anyone else. Constantly training, they can eventually become tempests of whirling steel.
Ranger Tempest I[edit]
- Usage: Passive
- Cost: 4 action points
- Progression: 16 action points
- Requires All of: Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack, Two Weapon Fighting, Improved Two Weapon Fighting
- Available to Ranger class level 6
- Your training has greatly improved your ability to fight with two weapons at once, increasing your chance of triggering off-hand attacks by 10% and granting a +2 shield bonus to armor class and +3 Physical Resistance Rating when two-weapon fighting. These bonuses do not apply when fighting unarmed/with handwraps.
- Unlisted: Gain a 5% increase in attack speed. Stacks with all other bonuses.
Ranger Tempest II[edit]
- Usage: Passive
- Cost: 2 action points
- Progression: 42 action points
- Requires All of: Ranger Dexterity II, Ranger Tempest I
- Available to Ranger class level 12
- Your training has continued to improve your two-weapon fighting abilities, increasing your chance of triggering off-hand attacks by an additional 10% and possess a +4 shield bonus to armor class and +5 Physical Resistance Rating when two-weapon fighting, and your attack bonus penalty has been reduced by 1 point for each hand. These bonuses do not apply when fighting unarmed/with handwraps.
Ranger Tempest III[edit]
- Usage: Passive
- Cost: 2 action points
- Progression: 66 action points
- Requires One of: Lightning Reflexes, Oversized Two Weapon Fighting, Two Weapon Blocking, Two Weapon Defense
- Requires All of: Ranger Tempest II
- Available to Ranger class level 18
- Your training has turned you into a whirling tempest of steel, and now gain a 5% chance to double strike with your main hand when two-weapon fighting. In addition, you now gain a +6 shield bonus to armor class when two-weapon fighting, and +10 Physical Resistance Rating, and your attack bonus penalty has been reduced by 1 additional point for each hand. These bonuses do not apply when fighting unarmed/with handwraps.
