Telekinesis
Name: | Telekinesis |
Caster level: | Equal to level of creature casting it |
Charge: | Infinite |
Target: | Single Creature |
Duration: | Instantaneous |
Description: This is a spell cast only by monsters. Most beholders and some powerful bosses such as the black abbot have this spell. The DDO version functions similar to the pnp version of violent thrust - it will send one character violently flying through the air in a random direction, generally in a 45 degree arc about 10-20 feet. The Black Abbot likes to use this since his arena contains deadly water on all sides, thus if you land in the wrong place after failing a will save versus this spell, you could very well end up dead. Similarly Queen Lailat's arena features pools of lava for you to fall in should you be flung off the platform. Otherwise it's simply an annoyance as it deals no damage other than potential some small amount of falling damage. A successful will save negates this spell. PnP Description: Alternatively, the spell energy can be spent in a single round. You can hurl one object or creature per caster level (maximum 15) that are within range and all within 10 feet of each other toward any target within 10 feet per level of all the objects. You can hurl up to a total weight of 25 pounds per caster level (maximum 375 pounds at 15th level). |
