Reading the note to the extra chests requires a Diplomacy check DC 54/55 on heroic elite. It appears you can retry the check any number of times. This unlocks access to 2 chests, the second one it behind a secret door and up an invisible ramp and ladder. It can contain Hermia's Owlfeather Cloak.
