Handedness[edit]

I was only able to capture an information screen for this weapon from a vendor, so I was not able to confirm that this weapon is 2 handed for non-dwarves, as the description suggests. For now, I've included this weapon in both the 1 and 2 handed categories. If anyone can confirm and note the findings appropriately for this weapon, I'd appreciate it. I haven't checked it in game but the DDO forums constantly correct people: "No, it's 2 handed in PnP, in DDO it is 1 handed" KakarisMaelstrom 17:37, April 27, 2006 (EDT)
Leaving this marked as a disputed fact until somebody can verify in-game. Elliott Cable - ?+¿ - ‹·› 02:08, April 28, 2006 (EDT)
Verified... One handed. --Shade 05:22, November 29, 2011 (EST)
It, along with the other exotic weapons are special cases, when a Dwarven axe or Bastard Sword is wielded with proficiency, and a shield (or empty), its able to do glancing blows like all 2handed weapons (quarterstaff not included, its special as well). When Dual-Wielded, they are treated as 1handed weapons and lose glancing blows

Well, They are always treated as one-handers regardless for all purposes except glancing blows. EG: No increased str multiplier, no increased power attack. Nor do they get the extra reach of two handers. Pretty much just one handers, with glancing blows when not twf. --Shade 09:03, March 29, 2012 (EDT)
