Problem uploading the pic for this NPC because the name is so simple it is rejected. I did not want to free-style the naming on my own. =P Tell me how to name this pic, and I will get it put into place. Thanks! meander (ContribsMessage) 23:56, July 5, 2018 (EDT)

  • Please copy the exact error message that you get why trying to use the usual name, so that I can look into it. Then append whatever you need to to get it to upload. I will rename it afterwards. — Zav(T·C) 02:21, July 6, 2018 (EDT)
    • The message (and upon second look I now know that there is an Admin message board! =P):

Upload error It's not possible to upload a file with the name "File:Cog.jpg" because it is a very common or uninformative file name. Please go back and choose a better file name.

When uploading files to DDO wiki, please use a file name that follows the DDO:Image policy.

Examples of good file names:

  • "Oladrens Great Crossbow.png"
  • "Oladrens Great Crossbow shown.png"
  • "S'Kara.jpg"
  • "Dagobard Kell.jpg"

Examples of bad file names:

  • "Image01.png"
  • "Joe.jpg"
  • "DSC00001.JPG"
  • "30996951316264l.jpg"
  • "ScreenShot00095.jpg"

If you have a good reason for uploading a file with this name, or if you receive this message when attempting to upload a new version of an existing file, please let us know at DDO:Administrators' noticeboard. Be sure to specify the exact name of the file you are trying to upload. Thank you. meander (ContribsMessage) 10:30, July 6, 2018 (EDT)

Ok, that is from the titleblacklist. Basically, the title was too short. I've moved it to the usual place. — Zav(T·C) 04:18, July 7, 2018 (EDT)
