Bonus Pact Dice damage note[edit]

Quick comment on that as it's shown as Unverified, that is from the in-game description on the popup for the Pact activation skill itself, it mentions +1 Fire damage +1d4 fire per additional pact dice. Kiljaedenas (ContribsMessage) 13:00, February 23, 2023 (EST)

  • Other descriptions (for example Lesser Pact Attunement feat) say pact damage die is 1d6. One of the descriptions must be wrong. Cru121 (ContribsMessage) 13:57, February 23, 2023 (EST)
  • I'm thinking what they are doing is having those unique Pact Attunement feats with stronger pact dice be separate, extra addons, and any bonus pact die such as from the Tainted Scholar 3 enhancements or Epic Pact Dice stay at the standard 1d4. If it didn't, and all of its pact dice were in fact 1d6, all that plus Drink Their Fear would be a bit broken against anything that wasn't completely fire immune or healed-by. In-depth testing of that would be a bit tedious and math-picky, unless there's some in-game command that can have it show you the exact calculations and results it does as you fight (is there one? That would really be helpful to me :). I do admit, that would counter the broad upgrade to the entire Warlock class for their Pact dice to now be 1d6...
