Item talk:Luminescent Dust

From DDO wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

In the catacombs part 1, the north bookshelf offers only collectables from two sets: Rudolph Rightman (Caravan Logbook, Research Diary & Tome: Myths of Old Xen'drik) and Kipling Vranch (Phoenix Tavern Purchase Order, 'Wavecrasher' Cargo Manifest & Tome: Stormreach Imports and Exports, 857YK) so this isn't a source of Luminescent Dusts. The west bookshelf also offers collectables but from two different sets: Peta Flashpin (Glittering Dust, Sparkling Dust & Luminescent Dust) and Xovun Chalk (Skull Fragment, Powdered Blood & Intact Fingerbone). So the chances for a Luminescent Dust is halved. It also offers Powered Blood too, so that is a good one to farm anyway. As an added bonus, you don't need to pull any levers - just run to the door, open it, recall, reset and redo. --Rebecca (ContributionsMessage) 00:01, May 15, 2013 (EDT)

Thanks, I have updated the page with your information. --Cru121 (ContributionsMessage) 02:16, May 15, 2013 (EDT)

As an update, due to the collectables pass, the bookshelf in Part 1 of the catacombs no longer drops either dusts or powdered blood. It's now vials (T1 arcane, Wash Pynoptis in Harbor) --Rebecca (ContribsMessage) 00:18, June 9, 2017 (EDT)
