Korthos Village[edit]
If you have not talked to your Class Trainer, you are a Druid or Artificer, or if there is no quest available in the Korthos tutorial quest series:
- Gand Bedu: I will train you to be humble and pious as a true cleric should be.
- You: Spend action points on enhancements.
- Gand Bedu: (if you have no Cleric levels) What use is divine knowledge to a <class> like yourself? I'm afraid I can't help you, dear one.
- Gand Bedu: (if you have at least one Cleric level) (open Enhancement Panel)
- You: Advance to the next level as a cleric.
- Gand Bedu: (if you have no Cleric levels) Are you certain that you wish to multiclass into the cleric class? If you are currently on a path, you will leave it by doing so.
- Gand Bedu: (if you don't have enough XP to level up and have at least one Cleric level) You do not have enough experience to advance.
- Gand Bedu: (if you have enough XP to level up and have at least one Cleric level) (open Advancement UI)
- You: Reset your enhancements.
- Gand Bedu: (if you have no Cleric levels) What use is divine knowledge to a <class> like yourself? I'm afraid I can't help you, dear one.
- Gand Bedu: (if you have at least one Cleric level) You can reset your enhancements in any public area by opening up your Enhancement Panel (Ctrl-R) and choose to Reset Tree or Reset All Trees.
- You: Ask for Cleric advice.
- Gand Bedu: Clerics channel the power of the gods themselves to help and to heal. No one is better at healing magic, or at fighting the undead. What else do you want to know?
- You: What armor should a cleric wear?
- You: What weapons should a cleric use?
- You: Tell me about spell components.
- Gand Bedu: As a cleric you require spell components to cast some of your spells. Small Candles are used as the spell component for certain early cleric spells such as Summon Monster. Components are consumed when you cast spells that require them, so don't forget to stock up on spell components at a shop before heading out on an adventure. Note, though, that your healing spells do not require spell components!
- You: How can a cleric combat the undead?
- Gand Bedu: Clerics gain special abilities and spells to use against skeletons, zombies, and other types of undead monster[sic]. Use your Turn Undead ability when faced with a swarm of several weaker undead. It will make the creatures flee, or even destroy them outright. You can even use your healing spells as weapons! Healing spells have the opposite effect on undead as they do on the living, so casting Cure Light Wounds on a zombie will damage it.

- You: Spend action points on enhancements.

- You: I would like to use your services. (see "I will train you..." above)
