- You: Tangleroot? Yes, I'll go there.
  - Wransyl of Vedykar: Excellent!
  - Wransyl of Vedykar: I'll take you to the One-Eared Bugbear—it's the inn closest to the gorge.
  - Wransyl of Vedykar: Be sure to speak to Eremic Quall in the tavern... he knows Tangleroot better than anyone. (Transport to The One-Eared Bugbear Inn)
- You: Tangleroot Gorge? Where is that?
  - Wransyl of Vedykar: It's a patch of jungle around the River Tangleroot -- some fifty leagues into the hinterland.
  - Wransyl of Vedykar: There are Bugbears and Troglodytes around the river ... and a vicious tribe of Hobgoblins they call Splinterskull.
  - Wransyl of Vedykar: Wild creatures they are, not like the civilized Hobgoblins you find on Khorvaire.
    - You: Sounds promising. I'll go. (see "Yes, I'll go there..." above)
    - You: Thanks, but I'll pass.
