This weapon is exceptionally fragile for its level, and often needs major repairs after just a couple dungeons even without any oozes present. Here is a comparison between a random loot ML19 falchion and the L24 Windlasher:

As you can see, the Windlasher has 5 levels over the random loot item and yet it is significantly weaker in both Hardness and Durability.
