Welcome![edit]

May I extend my warmest welcomes and offer you any help you may need? Thanks for your contributions, mate!

If you need help with something...

...I'm always available! You can drop a message on my user talk page (which I watch like a hawk) or grab my other contact info on my user page.
...There's a wealth of wiki documentation on the meta wiki, perhaps some of it may be of use to you.
...There's a really good Introduction over on meta also, it should help you figure out what's going on if your new to wikis in general.

I'd like to hear a reply! Just click Edit above, and write a message under where mine ends - then, at the end of your message (on the same line) type four tildes (Like this: ~~~~) to automatically insert a nickname linked to your user page, and a date/time signature!

Again, welcome to the wiki - and I can't thank you enough on behalf of the community for your help in making us the best DDO site around (-;

Guild[edit]

Starting a line with a space is used to denote code, and is quite hard on the eyes to read. Feel free to format your page with custom CSS, but please use something more attractive than that - I removed that and made it a simple paragraph, although you may feel free to clean up the page yourself and make everything more readable. Thanks for adding your guild to the site, and I hope it may send you some good users! Elliott Cable - ?+¿ - ‹·› 19:06, June 8, 2006 (EDT)

Hello Elliot Cable. Thank you for fixing my guild page. This is my first wiki experience. I did not know why I got or how to remove the box (code tag?) from that section of text. If I understand your message correctly, I assume it was because I started lines with a space. I was trying to break it down into several paragraphs to make it easier to read. And from habit I used indentation. Anyway, I am happy with the content but would still like to break it up to make it more readable. At the moment I am locked out and becoming afraid to mess with it. I attempted to restore to your fixed version using HISTORY but didn"t see a way. I would appreciate it if you could use your judgement and break it up a bit for me. It probably won't need much more editing beyond that in the near future. I also want to make the forum button on the page link to http://trademaker.phpbbnow.com - Would you be able to accomplish this for me? I will certainly study the meta wiki intro and help. And try to educate myself on how to use this properly. Thank you for your support Mravasdy 15:42, June 9, 2006 (EDT)
Nice! So you are a real person; I was wonderinf if you were a bot or some sort of, I don't know, spammer or bot or something. Anyway, I'm un-locking it - to create a new paragraph, merely put two linebreaks (your enter key, not <br>, lol) where you want the break to be!
As for the history; if you find a line in the history you want to look at or edit - just click the timestamp (looks something like 10:42, June 9, 2006) and it'll show up just like a normal wikipage would - if you then edit that page like any old page, and save it, it will overright whatever is already there. I know, it's a bit complicated - I'm going to work on a quick-revert feature in the future, but I can't right now.
Finally, for that forums link; just add an external link at the bottom of the page, use some code like this:

==See also:== * Our [http://http://trademaker.phpbbnow.com forums]

That should set you up right well, no? If there's anything else you need, just ask! Here, or at my user_talk page (-: Elliott Cable - ?+¿ - ‹·› 21:16, June 9, 2006 (EDT)
(P.S. Sorry for getting angry, I don't like it when people undo what I did - I'm not very noob-friendly am I? )-: )

Just so you know, we rarely blank out talk pages - if they're getting really long we may archive them; but we like to keep the discussion going on visible to users. Understandable mistake, as that conversation was kind of pointless, but it's just how we do things, I guess... Elliott Cable - ?+¿ - ‹·› 02:26, June 10, 2006 (EDT)
