Black Abbot[edit]

Just curious on how you got those numbers. Not aruging if they're good or not, just curious. :)

If you need help with anything... just ask!!:)

Thanks a lot for your contributions! :) Borror0 20:09, November 14, 2007 (EST)

Hello? mind ansewring please? Borror0 15:16, November 21, 2007 (EST)
Numbers come from the combat log, monster portrait, and tooltips. 20 attacks is basically enough to tell a mob's AC or saves, etc. 72.74.236.3
Ok, as long as you are sure of your numbers... :)→ Borror0 04:40, November 22, 2007 (EST)
How do you know he,s a sorcerer? How do you know he's got 32 Cha? He's got changed... are still sure of your numbers? Are you sure about his HP? HP are tricky, I'd beleive it if it wasn't a raid boss. If you can hit a mob until it dies from your own damage.. I could see it.. but otherwise, what is it beside a big approximation. Not saying you don't know your stuff, only saying that I'd like to know "how", to hear about your methods.

I cannot simply "trust" someone on that kind of stuff. I'd like to hear about your methods, so I can be sure it is done properly.→ Borror0 16:03, December 12, 2007 (EST)

A few questions..[edit]

First of all, I really thank you for all the work you've done so far=. Most of it is of really good quality and is really appreciated. However, I've got a few things to ask/say.

You've dited this page twice saying that it also protect from Force Missiles. Are you sure of that? I'm 95% sure it does not, I could be wrong. I know it should not. Nightshield does that, and that's the reason it personnal range only, whereas Shield is friends. I could be wrong, it's not the first time DDO would dop that sort of stuff, but testing would be needed. My only caster is a sorcerer, as a result, I have no Force missiles. Next I'll go in PvP with my guild I'll test it, but if you got a chance to test it before I do, that would be nice.

  • Create an account?

I nkow, I'm not quite a fan of creating accounts either, I'm glad it's not needed for editing. However, if you start doing more and more editing, and you're planning to stay for a while... I might give you more rights soon if your edits keeps on being such quality. But, I'd need you to make an account for this. It's like you want, just an offer. :)

  • Any section you'd really like to take care of?

There is, sort of, either you do like me and edit everything left an right, trying to keep everything to fall apart... or you specialise, a bit like Yoko does. You focus on a section or two, improving them slowly, making them better. This allows more edits follow the same thread of thoughts and a much better section. Whatever you'll do, expect me to come by and offer my help and comment on what you do, trying to improve it. Like we say, two heads are better than one. :)

  • Recent changes

Nothing really too important here, but it's somehting I really like. The Recent changes page is a page where all the edits are shown, allowing you (or I) to see the vandalism, correct the mistakes and typos done in the last updates and adding information to a recent edit. It allows you to have a bigger view of the wiki most of the time, to add to mapges you didn't of adding to. Just a suggestion, maybe you're doing it already1! :)

Thanks aghain for your work, I hope I'll see more of your edits soon, thanks a lot.→ Borror0 18:48, November 25, 2007 (EST)

1. I have fixed that page more than twice.
2. Yes, I am sure of what the Shield spell does.
3. "I know it should not". That is incorrect. Shield should be blocking force missiles. Arguably, Nightshield should not block them (because it's Divine magic), but Shield 100% absolutely should.
4. "whereas Shield is friends". No, Shield (like Nightshield) can only be cast on yourself.
