Directly below the ruins of the Market Bazaar is an underground tomb constructed by the giants. The devils have used it as a launching pad for their attacks on the city.

Overview[edit]

This adventure zone is accessed through The Marketplace. It is centered under the bazaar tent, appearing as a large, raised, round orange "stone" that serves as both memorial and entrance to the Subterrane.

This is a level 16 Wilderness Adventure Area, allowing characters from levels 12 to 21 to get full experience. The entire area is a raid zone.

Mounts do not function in this wilderness area. You can summon a mount, but when it arrives, you are immediately dismounted. This is a different effect from what happens in the House Cannith raid zones, Artificer Workshops and Research Facility, where you are not allowed to summon a mount. It is unclear why, but some possibilities are that this is WAI either as a different raid zone effect or an effect of the specific storyline, or it may be a bug.

A Vision of Destruction[edit]

Bestowed by Delvarrion Iravati, located in The Marketplace.
Getting to this raid directly can be a pain, as it requires you to navigate a maze-like devilish fortress and solve a puzzle involving buttons on the floor and red walls that instantly kill players that touch them. The puzzle can either be solved by kiting monsters so they walk across the inaccessible buttons trying to reach you, or by bringing somebody who can raise a dead character inside the red walls. (This is sort of moot as of Update 47, as Delvarrion will now send you to the raid directly, allowing you to bypass the zone entirely.)

Each Rare Encounter is worth 950 XP, with a 3,325 Bonus XP for locating everything.
