The Pit: Navigating to Backup Generator

A perspective view of the two main galleries and attached catwalks

Move forward (due south) from the entrance until the passage comes out onto a catwalk in the SE (southeast) gallery, then:

Walking: Turn left, run downward until you reach the Main Intersection, cross to the other catwalk there, then run upward on it until you reach a valve.

Jumping:  Drop to the next catwalk below you, then run up it until you get to a valve.

Use care approaching the valve! A trap consisting of 2 acid jets flanks the it. Turn the valve to shut the trap off.

Tip: if you run straight at the valve, jump & land directly on it (a little right of center), you can shut it off without being hit by the jets.

This acid trap is at the highest connection point between the two galleries. Cross through to the Northwest gallery and follow the upward spiral ramp to the Backup Generator room.
