Description: <Silver Flame Priest>

The Necropolis[edit]

If you try to talk to him while at level 19 or lower, he will reply:

  • Tengir Greathall: Can't help you, I'm afraid! The planes have gotten all askew again....

If you are at level 20 or higher, however, he will reply:

  • Tengir Greathall: By the Flame, what's going on? The augurs detect signs of Risia, Fernia, even Dolurrh. The Planes are completely out of alignment! But only here, near the Orchard....
  • Tengir Greathall: It's the Black Abbot's doing, no doubt. And the center of the planar disturbance seems to be the Inferno of the Damned!
    • You: What do you think is going on?
      • Tengir Greathall: I'm wikking to bet that some of the Abbot's old cronies have moved back into the Inferno of the Damned - maybe even old Cinnis the Cinderspawn. That's the thing about the undead... you can never be entirely sure that you're shut of them!
      • Tengir Greathall: But enough gabbing. Go to the Inferno and stop the Abbot's forces there!
        • You: I'll look into the Inferno of the Damned. (Bestow quest)
    • You: What's so special about the Inferno of the Damned?
      • Tengir Greathall: Things that die inside there come back in the fiery depths of a different plane. Some say it's Risia, others that it's Dolurrh. Wherever it is, it's a freakish planar anomaly! And the Abbot's forces have used it before.
      • You: What kind of forces did the Abbot have there?
      • Tengir Greathall: Living, breathing folk on this end, undead in the fiery bits. The leader of the whole place was a Cinderspawn named Cinnis.
      • Tengir Greathall: Some say Cinnis turned against the Abbot, but I don't credit it. It's fairly easy for a wizard to control a fire elemental - doubly easy if it's an undead fire elemental!
        • You: What do you think is going on? (See above)

Talking to him after acquiring the quest, but before completion, will make he say:

  • Tengir Greathall: Off to the Inferno with you! The Inferno of the Damned, that is.

On completion of quest, he will congratulate you with the following:

  • Tengir Greathall: Hmm, so you cleared out the Inferno, did you? All well and good, but it doesn't seem to have stabilized the planes any. It must be due to some other devilment by the Abbot - something very big indeed....
  • Tengir Greathall: Still, it's a job well done. Take this for your troubles.

After completing the quest and taking the reward, if you talk to him again, he will reply:

  • Tengir Greathall: Would you like to repeat the quest?
