Temporary item enchantments
Temporary item enchantments are a class of spell that apply to a character's weapons, armor or equipment, rather than directly buffing the character themselves. Nearly all temporary item enchantments are spells, most of which are found on the Alchemist or Artificer spell lists, but two items also count - the Oil of Incandescence and Caustic Oil.
Items can only have one temporary enchantment at a time, so most temporary item enchantments will dispel other enchantments on the same item. Two exceptions exist - the Artificer's two self-only weapon buffs, Personal Augmentation: Insightful Damage and Personal Augmentation: Insightful Strikes, stack with everything except each other, and Holy Sword stacks with everything.
Note that Master's Touch does not qualify as a temporary item enchantment, and can be used in conjunction with temporary weapon enchantments. Similarly, spells which conjure items, like Thorn Blade, do not quality, as their purpose is to create items, not modify them.
