If you want to remove the pink circles, which indicate epic, just use |casual=|normal=|hard=|elite= instead of |ecasual=|enormal=|ehard=|eelite=. To make the image stay in the middle... I haven't looked to see what you are doing with it making it move, so I can't currently say, but I can fix it for you in a few hours when I am not so busy with the baby and supper. What do you mean by "Find out how not to have a page show in a category listing"? Please expand. Big Grin

You went thru all the trouble to add the "|ecasual=|enormal=|ehard=|eelite=" figure I use it and to also avoid confusion on the which xp is which when editing.
  • For the infobox images, the original and this one, the image moves to the left the wider the info box becomes See: A Small Problem for a better explanation. I have thumb set to right on this template (forgot to change back to center before last save) still the image wont stay in center even when it is set to center.
  • With the built in defaults of the infobox, this template currently shows up in Category:Epic quests and Category:Pay to Play quests. Not really a big deal, just figured it be nice not to have non related pages like this one, not show up in a category it which doesn't belong especially if a page(s) may/will not be removed for a while if ever.

While I appreciate your appreciation of my edit to Template:Xpcolors for epic quests, Heroic and Epic XP have their own lines, so it is not needed and takes up valuable space.

Your Epic level section wasn't working because you had the argument as elvl in the example up top and epic in the actual template below... Set to elvl although perhaps it should be expanded to full words before any actual implementation.

As far as getting the map centered... grrr.. I've tried everything I can think of right now and none of it is working... I'll eat supper, clear my head, and try again later. Mad Face

ShoeMaker (Contributions Message) 17:25, August 18, 2012 (EDT)
Change "elvl" to "epic". "epic" is the one use in MissionInfoBox. "elvl" was my little creation to distinguish the to lvl types when i stated the page. Also change "exp" to "epicxp" this should now clearly show the difference between the two xp types.

See map box wont stay center its a evil box, evvvillll.

Was thinking to just have the images align to right to prevent the thumbs from moving when the info box gets wider. Not as good as center but better then it moving to the left. Can always fix it in the future. Just want to get the epic sections in before we get pages looking like the A Small Problem page or worse. Attuned to Heroism[edit]

Trying to get the switch to work on the actual item page. Not sure if I added the right code or missing a argument somewhere? Bladedge (ContributionsMessage) 15:00, December 9, 2012 (EST)

I've been watching you work on your project, and wondering exactly what you are hoping to create. What page are you using as a test?
ShoeMaker (Contributions Message) 15:03, December 9, 2012 (EST)
Figure someone was watching. Using Breach, The Dividing Blade. Bladedge (ContributionsMessage) 15:07, December 9, 2012 (EST)
What part of it is not working?

Consumable/Potion[edit]

Now with Potion and Cookie as an example and what is required to get item. Questions , Comments Bladedge (ContributionsMessage) 13:47, December 24, 2012 (EST)

Should I keep Category1=, Category2= etc as part of the template or remove it? Other then that question, template is finish. Iam thinking "template:consumable". Bladedge (ContributionsMessage) 13:22, December 30, 2012 (EST)
Are you sure there will never be one that is more than 4 categories? Is there a reason for the template to be so heavy if there are only 1 or 2 categories as I am sure most will be. Would it not be more sensible to add a loop to allow any number of categories to be specified from 0 to (whatever this wiki has set for max categories an item can be in (I should find out what that number is)). Coding for the loop using the Extension:Loops #forargs: hook might look something like:
{{#forargs: Category
|CatNum
|CatValue
|[[Category:{{{Category{{#var:CatValue}}}}}]]
}}

That is just my thought on the topic, since you asked. Wink

Quest template rev[edit]

One of the projects i regret not implementing before I left. Should update it and implement it. I mean what can possibly go wrong.... Bladedge (ContribsMessage) 21:55, May 15, 2019 (EDT)

Quest template version 2[edit]

Quest infobox version 2 is now ready for review/breaking. More information and organized then what is currently on the wiki. Almost done just have to look in the Saga pages so the saga section looks decent. ?Questions? Comments. Bladedge (ContribsMessage) 17:53, November 15, 2019 (EST)
