How to use[edit]

Here is how to use the template

{{SUBST:Post|1=level|2=~~~~|3=text}}

1= The "level" of the post. It starts at 0 and goes up. The higher the number is, the more indented your post will be. This is used to make it clearer to see who posted what.

2= Your signature. By writting four tidles (~~~~) you display your user name and the time and date at which you posted. Like this: Borror0 21:02, October 31, 2007 (EDT).

3= Here goes the message you have to post Borror0 21:02, October 31, 2007 (EDT)

Beautification[edit]

Just wanted to throw this one out for discussion. I've been playing around with updating this to not look so "Trueglass-ish" anymore. It's still in my SandBox and can be found here: User:Ague/SandBox. The entire design is still up in the air, so let's put our heads together and make this extremely high visibilty template look more Feng-Shui with the rest of the site. • Ague (Contribs • Message), I'm thinking that due to the technical restrictions (pipes, equals, and everything that relies on them like wikitables), we should just kill this template with fire and stop using it. I've already stopped using it, and have no problem running the bot through to clean up all uses (and pretend it never existed), even though it would probably take a week of solid bot edits to do that (I'd of course use Kobold sneak (Contribs • Message) for this). Thoughts? ShoeMaker (Contributions Message) 14:32, March 3, 2014 (EST)
I don't know. I think it looks good when used consistently. The problem is that not enough ppl actually use it. I think axing it is definitely worth putting up for a vote. See what everyone else interested thinks of the idea. Ague (ContributionsMessage) 16:41, March 3, 2014 (EST)
