Armor does not show any movement rate on inspection. Big Gino 13:01, February 10, 2006 (PST)

All armor reads "Race Absolutely Exculded: Warforged" They have docents, gonna make 2 seperate templates because itwill be easier to manage and not have to wite that every time. Big Gino 13:13, February 10, 2006 (PST)
Are you sure that the movement penalty in heavy and medium armor is not present in DDO. I thought the barbarisn movement bonus is present. It might just not show it but still factor it into your movement. -- koolkat 13:18, February 10, 2006 (PST)
Isn't there an Arcane Spell Failure percentage for armor? Dedridd 13:19, February 10, 2006 (PST)
In the list right after max dex bonus. -- koolkat 13:20, February 10, 2006 (PST)
Lol, you keep conflicting me=) Guess your faster. Dosent shoe on inspect. so im gussing theres just 3 levels for light, medium and heavy. probably the same thing with run speed. if thats the case we can put it on the heavy armor page and not on every single item. Big Gino 13:22, February 10, 2006 (PST)
Or maybee its the same for all full plate, half plate and so on Big Gino 13:24, February 10, 2006 (PST)
Should be the same for all medium and heavy armors. Light is normal -- koolkat 13:25, February 10, 2006 (PST)
You may not want to assume that it's the same for all. Back in the day, elven chainmail was always highly sought after in the PnP game because it was lighter, which meant it didn't impact movement rate or spell casting as much. Mithril will probably be different than the others of it's class, as well. If I remember correctly. It's been a while. My point is, you may need to be able to enter in a special value for those fields for magical versions of the armors. Dedridd 13:28, February 10, 2006 (PST)
ok, gonna sstick same in there on the armor that dosnt show to imply its the same as normal half-plate. when we find some down the road we can put it in. Big Gino 13:32, February 10, 2006 (PST)
I was confused when I looked at the page. Same as what? I see now by reading your comment here what it stands for. You could always specify the parameter but don't put in a value (parameter= ), to leave it blank. That might convey the meaning better? I dunno...ignore me, just passing through. :) Dedridd 13:39, February 10, 2006 (PST)
Yeah I meant to say it was the same for all of the base armors. Interestingly in 3e elven chain is considered light armor and you get to move 30ft/round but mithril full plate is considered medium armor (one less than heavy). These are both special armors though and I think the movement should be put back if only to be 30 for all light armors (except elven chain) and 20 for all medium and heavy armors. That is assuming that armor affects your movement at all in DDO. -- koolkat 13:41, February 10, 2006 (PST)
Don't they have an expiditious retreat spell in DDO that increases movement rate? Which implies that movement rate figures in somehow. I haven't seen enough different armors in the game yet to know for sure, which is why I posed all of this as a question. :) Dedridd 13:47, February 10, 2006 (PST)

Aye, I have hear of it and know for sure that barbariand have a level 1 feat that increases movement rate by 10. Not sure if it actualy does anything though cause i seem to be running at the same rate as everyone else. Big Gino 13:49, February 10, 2006 (PST)
