Holy hell... the DDO forums are f***ed

Ok. F***. I can't post on the DDO forums! I went to post about DDOwiki (since it is now no longer mentioned) and I COULDN'T REGISTER WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT! HOLY F### I AM F###ING PISSED! I don't particularly like this game nor do I _EVER_ intend to buy it, at least until they get a decent API published if ever, and they are PREVENTING ME FROM POSTING ON THEIR F###ING FORUMS! I am so very MOTHERF###ING pissed. If somebody who DOES have a forum account wouldn't mind copying this over there somewhere with a link to this page so people can reply, I would love that somebody forever and ever and ever and I would F###ING KILL THE F###ING FORUM ADMINISTRATORS! I remember them saying something about creating a new forum for subscribers once it went live. They must be flipping it over since the jump start event is tomorrow. Yeah, they warned about it a few days ago. It makes sense somehow, but I understand your frustration. Unfortunately I cannot copy your message there as this may make be banned from the forums and from the game, which I'd rather avoid if I can. Wow. There's not much else I can say. This post has brought me from the point where I liked this site a lot (to the point that a donation was considered) and visited it several times daily to the point where I don't think I can even recommend it to another user. I don't think I've ever read another post anywhere ever that has made me want to break any and all associations with a person. Especially to the point where I don't want to even visit a site that said person has worked on. Congratulations, Peerless, you have accomplished the seemingly impossible. - Areon

My bad, this post is *very* old. See the signature on my first post. Anyway, since then, I've gotten an account to post under anyway - as you may have noticed from my rash of wiki-posting on the forums (-: (post by Peerless - see his talk and contribs.)

Yes, I did notice that the post is rather old, and I am glad that you were able to eventually get on the forums. My problem is with people that get upset over trivial things and use strong language to make their points. Those people are usually referred to as flamers, and I don't associate with them if I can avoid it. I over reacted as well. But notice the language free manner of my post. You can get upset about something and not swear till even the devil wants nothing to do with you. - Areon

If you'd seen the hit count, you'd have done the same. Our hits/day went from 25,000 uniques to about 4,000. We still aren't recovered, hovering around 10,000-15,000. When the forums wiped, I was pissed enough - then, when I was unable to login and notify people we still existed, I was about 100x pissed. I seriously have never been that pissed about anything in my entire life - I love this site, I love it's members, and I don't want all their (and my) hard work going down the drain because nobody knows we're here. Make sense to you? I also just have a bad habit of cussing when I hit the ledge, even though I'm a hardcore christian - I know it's wrong, I was just soooo pissed you'd never believe it.
