Talk:Turn Undead

Can something like this be in 2 places, one for Clerics, and one for Paladins? Or should we add 2 sections in here, either for Cleric and Paladin seperately, or the general description for the feat, and a seperate section for the Cleric's added abilities? -- Ardan 10:51, March 2, 2006 (EST)

No, there should be only one Turn Undead page. However, it should only talk about turning undead. The special abilities like the Cleric's enhancements may be mentioned, but at the end, in a seperate or at least paragraph. Tihocan 11:07, March 2, 2006 (EST)
Does it ever stun. I havent run up against much undead, but when I turn them they always dissappear instead of standing in place or running. Note this is only on the undead in the WW quest lines. I killed all of the zombies with two turn attempts, and in the second prison I killed all of the skeletons and the zombie with one turn attempt. -- koolkat 12:02, March 2, 2006 (EST)
Yes it does. I believe it depends on your level compared to the undead level. As a L3 cleric, I usually stun the skeleton bosses in the Lighthouse quest (while I destroy all other undead there). Tihocan 12:12, March 2, 2006 (EST)
In Delera's Tomb, Part 1 the Wriaths will flee when you attempt to turn them. It has caused alot of trouble on a number of occasions, where they run and don't come back, forcing us to restart the quest.
The "stun" effect was replaced by a "fear" effect a long time ago... now, undead that are affected are either destroyed or flee away from the cleric. Tihocan 13:54, January 16, 2007 (EST)

Looks like this page is very out of date. Cleric and Paladin enhancement point at the U18 historical info.

Turn Undead Revision[edit]

I feel like this page is still useful information and should not be removed. However, it is out of date and I will redo the page. If someone could move it to the above position, and add a header saying it's from update 18, that'd streamline things immensely.---Byeshklord (ContributionsMessage) 22:45, June 26, 2014 (EDT)

  • If you would like to make a draft of the new page, make it as User:Byeshklord/Sandbox or similar. It can then be moved here once it is complete. — Zav(C·T·E) 12:32, June 27, 2014 (EDT)
  • Now that I think about it, I'd not really change anything besides what the sources, bonuses, and uses for the charges are from. I'd like a go-ahead to update this page to U22, along with use/sources of LOH, Smite evil, and Bard Songs. --Byeshklord (ContributionsMessage) 19:35, June 28, 2014 (EDT)
  • You can just update the page. There isn't a need to make a history page. History pages already exist for the old enhancements. I assume you mean you're going to update the LoH, Smite Evil, and Bardic music pages. — Zav(C·T·E) 20:06, June 28, 2014 (EDT)
  • Arg. I'm done. That was a crapton of typing, but I got it done. Hope I did it right... --Byeshklord (ContributionsMessage) 13:31, June 29, 2014 (EDT)
  • Nice job putting all the new information together. I made a bunch of changes to the markup and redid the item enchantments to use {{Bonus Turning}}. I also updated the description to match the one in game. — Zav(C·T·E) 14:48, June 29, 2014 (EDT)
