Talk:True Seeing vs. Secret Door Detection

So I'm trying to plan ahead as far as Cannith Crafting, and I'm thinking of using Blindness Ward Goggles of True Seeing (eventually). However I'm wondering if True Seeing will reveal normal secret doors in the same way as Goggles of Secret Door Detection, or if they only reveal magically concealed doors.

Also, I noticed that Potions of Paralysis Removal function as clickies instead of potions. This is extremely annoying, since I found out while I was Barb Raging and a shaman cast slow on me and I was unable to counter with my stockpile of "potions". Is this WAI or should I submit a bug report?→ 75.132.220.203 18:27, February 21, 2012 (EST)

1. Yes, true seeing will reveal as well secret passages
2. Yes WAI, as paralyse mean you can't move, so someone else need to 'cast' this on you. Only exception of my knowledge are Guild potions. SisAmethyst 19:34, February 21, 2012 (EST))
True Seeing works better then DSD, Detect only works for doors, while True Seeing works for Blur/Displace, Doors, and supposedly (ive never noticed it working) on invisible things (those Invisible Stalkers in the Vale dont count as invisible, they are pure air) Yawgmoth 19:27, February 21, 2012 (EST)
Not really WAI ("The following potions can not be used while raged. They will be updated in the future. Neutralize Poison, Remove Curse, Remove Disease, Remove Fear. " and I'm sure others are on the list...) - however, slow is countered by Haste, not Remove Paralysis. No idea if haste pots can be used while raged... or if you can use Remove Paralysis pots on somebody else while raging (there's a chance that the potion didn't work because you weren't, y'know, paralyzed. So DDO's internal logic said "Hey, you ain't paralyzed, so you don't need to drink this! *denied*") LrdSlvrhnd 00:56, February 22, 2012 (EST)
You can counter slow with haste potions. One potion will negate it, then drink another to haste yourself and kill the shaman.
And yea I agree.. Some 5+ years ago they changed many potions into clickies, was one of the dumbest changes in the game.. No one cares about the clicky functionality, but many care they are slower to use, and disabled for bbns. Yet even 6+ years later, turbine makes no attempt to correct them. Raged Barbarians can use any guild vendor bought potion while raged. This includes Remove Curse (Then Remove Disease if Mummy Rot), Lesser Restoration, Rage, and Haste most notably for Barbarians. As far as True Seeing goes, yes, you can see things that would otherwise be invisible, including the air ele's in the vale if you have the right graphics settings and some other attributes (I'm thinking Spot), but I can not tell you for sure what those settings are, just that I have seen them with True Seeing on Swampbat's Rogue life.
