"Characters of level 20 or above must be in an Epic quest to score Durability from a Mote, but there are no further restrictions, so a level 34 character can claim score from a level 20 quest."
Tested this in the Borderlands and in Watch your Step on Epic Elite. Was not able to claim durability in either.

Not sure who put that or why. The original from Lanterns was meant that Legendary characters could get durability from non-legendary quests (so long as they were still in the standard base+3 range) even though epic characters could not gain durability from upper heroic quests despite being in that base+3 range. That is to say, Legendary characters are not restricted from gaining durability from Epic quests in the way Epic characters are restricted from gaining durability from Heroic quests. ⇒ Ademisc (Contribs • Message • Email) 12:39, November 20, 2025 (EST)
