I have observed that while standing in shallow lava hurts me for 2-10 points of damage , PfE spell is depleted by 10-24 points. - What can be the cause?
Interaction with Resistance[edit]
Anyone know how this works in conjunction with, say, a Greater Fire Resistance enhancement bonus? Would it subtract the 30 points from Resistance and then from Protection from Elements, or vice-versa (or other)? Hoopy Froodle (Contribs • Message • Email) 21:33, May 16, 2016 (EDT)

- Also worth saying that any diminished damage because of dungeon scaling is calculated after all mitigation take effect. So if you are playing solo, sometimes you can see that Resist 30 feels like it is a lot lower (eg, damage drops from ~20 to ~10 instead of zero) Nibelung (Contribs • Message • Email) 00:05, May 19, 2016 (EDT)
