Talk:Party Favor Turn In

From DDO wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

To make this page look less spread out and more organized, should we take the 12th/13th anniversary loot and collapse them like the top of the page? The top looks easy to use. meander (ContribsMessage) 09:31, March 21, 2019 (EDT)

Perhaps. Here's how I'd organize it:

  • Intro: Add more context, what's a Party Favor, where to get it, where and when to turn it in. Keep info about tiers, add info that some items are not tiered. Perhaps mention binding if it's fairly consistent. Keep the info about durability& stuff.
  • Then add a list of items sorted by year of introduction, starting with the latest. Thirteenth list is here, 12th is already part of the article, we would just have to figure out what was new in 11th.
  • As for the format, I guess the collapsible format is nice, but to see details one has to click it. Keep the detail in one line, perhaps add enchantments, e.g. Cheap Shot (Long Bow): Poisonous, Befouling, Doubleshot, Keen, Orange slot with Haggle augment

  • So I went ahead and changed the article according to my vision. Except the expanding stuff because that smells like a lot of work and I don't really like it that much. -- Cru121 (ContribsMessage) 05:51, March 22, 2019 (EDT)
    • ...nods agreement about the expansion bars - I like that the order was reversed so the new stuff is immediately apparent. I guess my only thought is this... when we turn in party favors, should it just show what is available as a master list (or table or chart, whatever), instead of listing by year it was introduced? If I am tabbing over from the game to get a quick reference, my usage of the page at this time was to determine how to divvy up my party favors as time to use them ran out. Do I want that armor lvl 10 or 15? And can I still afford some glam? In that case, I favor a simple list and don't care when it was released. This idea make any sense? Kudos to the re-org, it is easier to use than before. meander (ContribsMessage) 16:33, March 22, 2019 (EDT)
