Row colouring

Perhaps I'm partially colourblind, or you're tetrachromatic, but I could barely tell the difference between the shades you picked! You were certainly right about my using inconsistent colours (I didn't have the game open at the time, to check), but IMO you were wrong about what was right! XD I've updated the colours to better match those of the in-game crafting level numbers (arcane=purple, divine=blue, elemental=green). Raumkraut 09:40, June 27, 2011 (EDT)

Inconsistencies

I just crafted a shard of Proof against Poison +4, and it seems to be a suffix, not a prefix as the table indicates. Can anyone confirm?

wondering about limited enchantments

One example : there are numerous shields that can be found having "Guard" enchantments, like "Lightning Guard II" (a +2 ench. if I remember). However, shields can't be crafted with such enchantments. In my case, Cannith doesn't allow me to craft a shield with a Shard of Lightning Guard II (Retributive +2 shard). Is this "by design"? (IMHO I find this to be odd : if we can't craft it, then it should not be so commonly found "in the wild"). --HawkFest (Contributions • Message) 16:32, October 28, 2014 (EDT)

Not so much "by design" as "by lack of design": the random-gen code has been redone since Cannith Crafting was created. None of the new affixes (like all the scaling Guards) have been created as Cannith Crafting shards. We don't know when/if Turbine will redo/add to the Cannith Crafting System. • They're aware that it is needed but it hasn't been mentioned as being in any of the upcoming Updates and has been noted that it's not on the todo list at this time. Enhancement Modifier

Since this table is already wildly out of control, is there any reason to not put in the enhancement modifier for a shard? I know having that information would be quite useful. Danzig138 (Contributions • Message) 08:12, March 10, 2015 (EDT)

it's an awful table for me as a crafter. I'd want the magic level as you say, and I'd want it simplified to reduce all the various bonuses that are similar except with a change of element or magic type of ability consolidated so you could find stuff. Also don't put all the weapon stuff in with armor or the clothes/jewelry. Have separate tables. Lose the unimportant info like basic ingredients. Finally it seems there are errors in some of the prefix/suffix stuff. I'll try and come up with something. Elajna (Contributions • Message) 11:35, May 11, 2015 (EDT)
