This feat appears to be broken. There is no noticable effect when using this. — previous unsignedPlease sign posts using ~~~~ comment

  • Similar here 2024 / 02 / 13, tried using Improved Feint several times since I got it on level 15. Monsters still attacking me nonstop, not turning away or let alone on my allies (hirelings, pet, human ally). Edit : At least the tooltip is unclear on why it would not work. Of course I was looking in the web for some time now and asking friends. For example I read of some one using this to turn away a whole caster group and making them stop using spells on the writer's character for a moment, at least. This couldn't be utilized through my tests. 176.5.156.244 (Message • Block • Check) 05:56, February 13, 2024 (EST)

Bluff?[edit]

Does this Feat use Bluff for DC - and where does it say so, source? (The wiki mentions Bluff, but it's unclear given all circumstances)

How can I know better about it, hence a source would be nice! By the way: The decision is made for a sneak-attacking-class/build: Dark Hunter - who lacks Bluff hence I chose this, but I pay a whole feat after all, don't I. 'Not expecting magic. Some clarification here or in the wiki would be helpful.

My source: Is a guide for DH by an established guide writer - it uses Improved Feint without ANY points into Bluff. But it would be utterly useless if the Bluff-rules would be applied, wouldn't it:

  • It's an AoE attack like Cleave that does not require Power Attack. So I don't think it's necessarily useless, even if the bluff wouldn't land. Cru121 (ContribsMessage) 06:46, February 13, 2024 (EST)
