Valentina Spawning

What I've found from a few hours of testing (~13 runs, heroic elite. ~6 runs, epic elite) in regards to Valentina spawning:

• Not tied to the Urn or Mangled Corpse in any way. I have found her before interacting with either
• Not tied to the optional objective "Kill the leader of the pack"
• Not triggered by a timer. I sat AFK in the quest for 2 hours without her spawning
• Mist is not a visual cue. As far as I know, there is no visual or auditory cue
• She can spawn on either side of the river

What I am rather certain of, but cannot yet prove:

• Her spawn trigger is tied to quest kill count (or more likely, wolf kill count). She hints at such in her dialogue with the player:
  • Dialogue: "So many wolves sent back to the mists. Now they howl where only the dead can hear them. Thank you, stranger."
  • Dialogue: "Do you remember how you died?"
  • Dialogue: "Wolves. I had run into the woods. They were all around me and... <shudders>."
• If the spawn is triggered by kill count, it's somewhere around 55-60. I've personally never seen her spawn before 59, but quickly find her after 60+ kills.

If someone can offer definitive proof (in the form of a screenshot most likely) that her spawn is not tied to kill counts, they should offer it and change the page accordingly. Until such time, I believe it should be left as what it currently states:

• "For her to spawn, you first need to kill a sufficient number of wolves (or possibly total kills ~55)."

Update 38 Release Notes: "The quest Fresh-Baked Dreams now has fewer wisps and wolves."

I've now seen Valentina spawn at exactly 50 wolf kills (not total kills). It appears that, while the number of wolves was decreased, the trigger number was likely not. You may now need to run around for a longer time looking for wolves to kill before Valentina will spawn.

Number of Chests

Quest listing currently says 2 chests, mill chest plus end chest. I did the quest today (02.06.2020) and had a total of five chests. Kill sequence was Offalia (chest dropped right at her position out of nowhere, bottom of the stairs in the mill), Bella, Old Morgantha. Then Retainer of Aodh (3x), Aodh and finally Morgantha (she is missing in the monster listing btw). After finishing Morgantha there were three chests on the hill, a big one and two smaller ones. Has anybody else encountered this? I had three in total before, either two in mill and one outside or vice versa, but today set a new record. All of the chests had loot, although no named loot dropped in that run. Pictures can be provided if needed.

• Defeating orange-named Monster Champions spawn champion chests that have Mysterious Remnants in them. These spawn randomly, contain no named loot and we don't include them in the chest listing. ⇒ Cru121 (Contribs • Message • Email) 15:22, June 2, 2020 (EDT)
• Definitely 3 chests. One always spawns at bottom of mill, one spawns at final fight. I've seen third spawn at top of mill, or at final fight. I'm pretty sure it had regular loot, not (just) remnants. ⇒ Nom (Contribs • Message • Email) 08:33, June 10, 2020 (EDT)
• This time I got 4 chests. I think the triggers for the extra chests are:
  • If you spawn Morgantha before taking down both her daughters
  • If you kill Aodh before taking down Morgantha
