i got a PM on the turbine forum, he says his address has been blocked since it was used by Linkqueen.

i went to do check user on that account, tried to unblock 2 IPs associated with that but it says these IPs are not blocked. well, apparently im not super keen on how the automatic IP blocking works, any idea what do i do now?

That should be fixed now. Somehow the proxy IP this wiki uses changed. (My fault, I was messing with some settings.) That caused the wiki to start thinking everyone's ip address was the new proxy ip. So the first guy that got blocked after that ended up blocking everyone.

You probably weren't doing anything wrong Yoko5000 (Contribs • Message). Yawgmoth (Contribs • Message) and I got the same PM on the forums and the guy came into the IRC chat channel asking for help as well... So, you were probably doing it wright, but Yawgmoth (Contribs • Message) or I beat you to the actual unblock. Eeeek!

I figured it was something like that. I'm pretty quick about solving problems that get alerted, assuming I'm not asleep... or eating... or out.... or playing whatever I rented.... Except most people lately are impatient and expect it solved 5 minutes before they report the problem.... Yawgmoth ( IRC • Message ) 01:38, August 26, 2012 (EDT)
