Talk:Cleric equipment

From DDO wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

CHA is for more than just the power of Turn Undead, you also get an extra attempt per modifier, which means and extra healing blast or DV. I also added some options for extra SP, seeing this page lacking up to date options for any skill based items, I will be doing some research and building tables for level by level options for equipment that may be useful. About weapons[edit]

I'm relatively new to the game, currently making my 3rd character as a Cleric (actually 4rth, the 1st one being a "discovery-demo" type character for my couple of first steps and major errors in DDO's Worlds - I want to try something else than fighters/paladins). Hence these somewhat "noob" questions: what weapon type and proficiency does the average Cleric wields for battles? Or is he mostly bare-handed, while using range weapons like shuriken and darts? --HawkFest (ContributionsMessage) 23:07, February 18, 2015 (EST)

With access to heavy armor and shields, clerics can be in the thick of the combat. Particularly if you're investing into Radiant Servant enhancements for the burst and aura that are centered on you. What weapon to use - that depends on your plans. Caster clerics use gear that grants them spell power, often radiance and later impulse. "Battle clerics" usually multiclass to gain weapon proficiencies or spend a feat. --Cru121 (ContributionsMessage) 02:47, February 19, 2015 (EST)
