Naming the enhancement links[edit]

Enhancements are done, but some of the links probably need to be updated/created eventually.

I used the following format for the links, figuring that similar ones will be needed for each set of enhancements done. Not sure if this is how they were intended to be done, so all the links may need to be redone.

  • Skill Enhancements (Concentration, Diplomacy, Heal)
    • Link to "xxx enhancements" where xxx = the actual skill
  • Stat Enhancements (Wisdom, Charisma)
    • Link to "xxx enhancements" where xxx = the actual stat
  • Most enhancements that use Turn Undead (Improved Turn Undead, DC, DH, DL, DV)
    • Link to "Turn Undead Enhancements"
  • Energy of the Zealot enhancements
    • Link to "Spellpoint Enhancements"
  • Enhancements that increase damage/potency of spells (Life Magic, Smiting)
    • Link to "Spell Amplification Enhancements"
  • Enhancements that increase a spell's chance to crit or damage done on a crit (Prayer of Life, Prayer of Incredible Life, Prayer of Smiting, Prayer of Incredible Smiting)
    • Link to "Spell Critical Enhancements"
  • Enhancements that seem to "specialize" a build (Follower of the XXX)
    • Link to "Specialization Enhancements"
  • Enhancements that affect metamagic feats (Improved Empower Healing)
    • Link to "Metamagic Enhancements"
  • Wand and Scroll Mastery
    • Link to "Wand and Scroll Enhancements"
  • Improved Spell Penetration
    • Links to "Spell Penetration Enhancements"ex Sojourner9 19:21, September 9, 2007 (EDT)
I've done similar links, in the worse of all cases, we'll edit them. Priority one, get the information in, then we'll see for the rest.

Here's how I thought my links. Dwarven Armor Mastery links to Armor Mastery as there is Fighter Armor Mastery too. When there was no common line, I went with a general line like Dexterity enhancements. I try to avoid the term enhancement when possible to make shorter page name. For this reason, Wand and Scroll enhancement could be changed to Wand and Scroll Mastery as I believe they all have the same name but only the class name will differ. So, if Improved Spell Penetration keeps the same name... the link will be Improved Spell Penetration.

Naming policy 101: Capital letters are important as you know it, also plurial change if the page is the same or not (unless there are redirects). For this reason:

  • Capital letters only when needed. So, if you'd name a page "Wand and Scroll enhancement"... don't put a capital letter on anything. However, if you're making a page named Wand and Scroll Mastery as refering to the enhancement's name, then put caps.
  • Plurial vs single person. Purials means a list. Singular means description.

Just so it avoids me a few edits. ;) Borror0 23:04, September 9, 2007 (EDT)
