Talk:Cannith Crafting +X Enhancement Bonus

So my question is: Do +1 weapon enhancements stack in crafting?

For example, if I apply a +1 shard to an axe, it will then be a +1 Axe. If I then want to change the +1 Axe to a +2 Axe, do I have to strip the +1 Axe and apply a brand new +2 Shard, or can I simply add another +1 Shard?→ 75.132.220.203 07:30, February 11, 2012 (EST)

Turbine-DDO keeps changing the answer to your question. Firstly, two +1 shards ≠ a +2 shard. Secondly, last I knew, you could simply overwrite your current shard with the new shard and not have to strip it down IF you had enough potential to support BOTH shards. Using your example, Starting Shard is a +1 Enhancement Bonus with a +1 potential Changed to a +2 Enhancement Bonus with a +2 potential Would require a +3 total potential. This means little with those shards, however, with a Starting Shard of a +3 Enhancement Bonus with a +3 potential Changed to a +5 Enhancement Bonus with a +5 potential Would require a +8 total potential. Ok, so I just tried to replace (overwrite) a shard with a different one (a +1 Prefix with a +0 Prefix) and it seems to be currently set so the you do have to completely strip an item down to change anything on it. Frowning Face ShoeMaker 09:58, February 12, 2012 (EST)
